Jazz & tap Teacher
Director of Electric Youth
Dyan Lopez-Fiamengo has been teaching dance for 30 years. She has
an extensive background in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She has
a degree from CSULB in Physical Education with a specialty in
coaching men’s sports. Dyan started dancing at the age of 4. At the
age of 13 Dyan made her television debut dancing on Channel 11. She
has performed on Puttin on the Hits, Keeping up with the
Kardashians, many games shows, and special appearance on channel, 5,
7, and 11. She also performed on the Jerry Lewis telethon for 3
years. She has done varios music videos her last with Earth, Wind,
and Fire, stage shows, amusement parks, local theatre, half time
shows for Clippers, Lakers, 66ers, Ontario Reign, UCLA,and Sparks.
She has done radio across the US as well as toured with the
Hollywood Starlets.
Dyan has been working with singing and dancing groups as a
performer and choreographer for over 40 years. She toured with the
young life singers, choreographer for American Youth Express, had
the first all guys championship dance team for high schools, an
award winning co-ed team, dancer for the Honey Taps, choreographer
and director for her adult hip hop team Electric Crew, co director
and dancer for the Hot Cotton Candies and owner and director of
Electric Youth dance company.
Dyan currently dances for the LA Sparks WNBA Ole Skool crew.
They have performed at many celebrity events, charity events, radio
guest spots, interviewed by numerous TV stations etc. Dyan brings
her expertice in physical education and dance in her training. Her
goal is to make each student that comes her way their personal best.
Many of her students have gone on to do Broadway, choreograph for
Britney Spears, choreographers of their own high school dance teams,
teachers, entertainers, etc. Dyan hopes to continue teaching for
years to come.
